Pete Davidson have been spotted canoodling quite a bit — but she's getting real with fans about the relationship.

Pete Davidson has had a wild year — from his sudden engagement (and equally quick breakup) with Ariana Grande to his wide variety of new tattoos (many of which were, uhm, with his now former fiancé). However, it looks like he certainly hasn’t lost his groove, as Kate Beckinsale has taken to Instagram to talk about their blossoming romance.

The British actress was first spotted with the SNL darling at the Golden Globes afterparty. Allegedly they spoke for most of the night and seemed to hit it off. Then the pair was spotted holding hands on Feb. 1 as they left the Largo at the Coronet in West Hollywood after Davidson’s standup show. From there, rumors have it that they went back to the comedian’s hotel in Santa Monica together.

At 45-years-old, Beckinsale has a full 20 years on Davidson — but that’s nothing, considering that she was previously dating 23-year-old Matt Rife last summer. In November of 2018, she was also linked to actor and comedian Jack Whitehall, as they were spotted showing some serious PDA in L.A.
The actress also has a 20-year-old daughter, Lily Mo Sheen, who she shares with ex Michael Sheen.

Beckinsale has been seriously criticized online for her relationship with Davidson, but she’s talking it all in stride, and with a dash of humor.
For instance, on Saturday the “Total Recall” actress posted an up close selfie with the caption “Here’s what I got from five years of biology class : ‘mollusc’ is Latin for ‘soft flesh’ and how to identify and label a urethra. Neither has kicked in yet as useful as of today”
A fan decided this was the opportune moment to share their thoughts on her relationship.

“Disappointed in your dating choices,” the Instagram user penned.
Beckinsale wasn’t taking it lying down though, quickly quipping, “fairly let down by your wonky beard but thought possibly rude to say.”
This isn’t her first time where she ribbed a fan when they tried to talk about her dating choices. Beckinsale had posted a photo of her mother, actress Judy Loe, when a follower commented, “Dear havens, Kate. Not Pete Davidson.”

Beckinsale replied, “No that’s my mother. Easy mistake.”
Though the relationship is relatively new, insiders have claimed that not much more will come of it, as both Beckinsale and Davidson are focused on themselves and their careers right now.
“Kate’s not looking to get serious with someone,” an insider to People. “She wants to have fun with guys and date around.”

And Davidson? Friends say he is “enjoying being single as he is focusing on himself.”
The actor has been spotted out and about more and more since going essentially reclusive after his big breakup. Of course, it doesn’t help that he has to hear about it every time “Thank U, Next” plays.
